Glad to know that the Gala family of Navneet Publications group has formed ‘Navneet Foundation’ to bring all the philanthropic activities under one umbrella. It is indeed a laudable initiative. I trust that the ‘Navneet Foundation’ will contribute significantly towards betterment of needy sections of the society. I wish all success for this initiative by the Gala Family and Navneet group.

The Navneet-Gala family has been engaged in meaningful welfare driven initiatives aimed at making a qualitative difference to the lives of the marginalized, for over five decades. In our land of paradoxes where we see such a dichotomy in our society, there is a dire need to bring in a more equitable environment through inclusive growth. A society wherein every human being leads a life of dignity. In India, this realization has donned upon several progressive and socially conscious families. While this is indeed very encouraging, I believe it is important to institutionalize processes and run CSR as a business wherein the return on investment is the turnaround of human lives. Foundations run in a professional manner fulfill this felt need. So, I congratulate the Gala family for their foresight in setting up the Navneet Foundation. With a focused approach, the Foundation will accomplish much more. I wish the Navneet foundation every success in their transformational endeavours, through their engagement with the under-privileged in the areas of education, health care and providing homes to the homeless. In so doing, they help lift the burden of poverty from the shoulders of thousands of our fellow countrymen.
